Matthew has over 20 years' experience of managing publishing and communications projects, including senior roles in an NHS organisation. He has worked with clients in the voluntary, public and private sectors, delivering editorial projects ranging from marketing communications to new corporate websites, and design projects ranging from academic reports to major brand identity work.
Matthew has always had an interest in new publishing technology and was involved in early adoption of desk-top publishing while at the Tate Gallery. In 1997 he managed the introduction of the first website for Crisis, the homelessness charity, and in the early 2000s he managed major web redevelopments for two NHS organisations. Recently he has implemented print-on-demand and e-book publishing models for the Nuffield Trust.
Matthew is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Member of the Association for Project Management and an NLP Master Practitioner. His best-selling book, Project Management Secrets, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. He holds a BA in Economics from Essex University and an MA in Media Technology Administration from London University of the Arts.
When not involved in communications projects, Matthew practises tai chi, dog walking and helping his children with their homework. He is currently devising a plan to restore his record collection to its rightful place in the corner of the lounge.
